Great News! Yesterday, my 17 year old son was informed that he has healed two months ahead of schedule. He’s excited to begin a snowboard season he was told back in October, wasn’t going to happen. Everyone at OCC has been supportive and a pleasure throughout pre-surgery, the surgery day, and the post surgery followup visits. He explained everything very well and was thorough. He did not seem rushed like a lot of doctors are.
I was reluctant to have shoulder replacement surgery though the arthritis was making simple things, such as putting on a coat, very difficult. Dr. Mann explained the procedure, pain management and time frame for recovery. I am now scheduled for surgery and though certainly not looking forward to it, I feel far more confident that it is the right choice.
