I am deeply disappointed with my experience with Dr. Thomas Babin at LCMC Pediatrics in Destrehan. My son, who is normally seen by Dr. Remedios (whom we absolutely love), was seen by Dr. Babin today due to her being out. My son has been struggling with severe symptoms—he hasn’t eaten in over 24 hours, is experiencing diarrhea, and has a cough and runny nose. Babin was recommended to me by word of mouth by many St. Charles residents! I was able to meet him today for my child’s pediatric appointment and he was extremely helpful during the visit, even providing external resources! It was an overall great experience. Thank you Babin!
I love Dr Babin! Moved here from Arkansas an was very hesitant about getting a new pediatrician for my kids, he was highly recommended by all my friends here an I was NOT disappointed at all! He’s got a great bed side manor an always very knowledgeable. Love that I found a great pediatrician for both of my kids! They won’t be seeing anyone else !

I see another doctor within this practice, Dr Remedios, and she is incredible. However, when calling for assistance after hours, Dr Babin was on call. My child has been ill a lot over the last two years and when I’ve had to call on call I’ve always been able to speak to a doctor and received assistance. However, when I called to see if there was anything I could do from home or something I could give my child over the counter to help alleviate his nighttime symptoms (with the steroid and antibiotic he was already on), he wou... read more
