Prior to becoming a founding member of Florida Orthopaedic Institute, Dr. Bernasek received his medical training at the Creighton University College of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska, and completed his orthopedic residency training at the University of New Mexico. After residency, Dr. Bernasek completed a fellowship in joint replacement and adult reconstruction at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.

Everything went smooth about my visit. No waiting time to see the doctor. Very knowledgeable staff.
Long wait. Fellow in room 5 minutes and done. Did not look at scar and just took my word that it was ok. Did now watch me walk to see if any issues. Never saw Dr Bernasek before or after surgery for follow up. I only saw him the morning of the surgery and never again.
Special, so skilled, & so KIND to his patients & his staff loves him! Dr. Thomas Bernasek has taken great care of my family for over 20 years. So fortunate to be treated by him!
