Procedure was bilateral stem cell on my L4-5 (torn & herniated) & L5-S1 (herniated worse). It was followed by two PRPâ??s: one on L5-S1 three months prior and one on L4-L5 six months prior. Both PRPâ??s helped, but I made the decision to move forward with stem cell due to: 1) a bad sciatic flare up approximately one month after second PRP, 2) strength in right calf and neurotension in right leg not improving as fast as Iâ??d like, and 3) the hope of healing more quickly in general to get back to a previously very active life... read more
