Britany Burgess who helped me get my apartment, Maeghen Davis, who is my portfolio manager and Enrique as well as Mr. Curtis. I’ve been renting here for 4 years, and I’ve been very happy since Cornerstone took over managing The Jefferson. They cleaned up the dumpster area considerably, repaired doors that have been broken for over a year, shampooed the carpets in the common area, and even put flowers in the planters by the front door. The worst property management company I’ve ever experienced. Terrible communication, terrible follow up, and little to no interest in the needs of the property. Cushman & Wakefield is one of the worst national property management firms as their list of lawsuits attests to. They obscured my lease term at signing in order to make it impossible to dispute. If you can afford to, choose any other option downtown.
I toured this complex twice and put in an application 3 weeks ago. I have been trying to call and email since to cancel my application and get my deposit refunded. I have yet to hear back from anyone regarding my application and deposit. As someone who had previously worked in property management for years, I cannot imagine completely ignoring an applicant for 3 weeks.
It's worth more than what you pay for. The balance of location, price, sqft, security, privacy, and speed of service has made my stay a 5-star experience. I highly recommend the Jefferson Apartments.
