HERE'S AN UPDATE: the doctor cleared him to go back to work 100%. He cries EVERY DAY for the last 6+ years! He just wants someone to help him with the pain and fix him! He's only seen him twice for a combined total of 20 min. Dr.Ripperda is truly a very caring Dr. Who is alway's concerned about the pro's and con's of your treatment. He is very easy to talk to, not to mention how very thorough he is . I like the Q & A sheet you have to fill out before you see him . Let's him know what questions to ask you, and I believe it's just important for the Dr to ask questions as it is for the patient to ask questions, this way he know's what treatment course to go with in your care . Worst dr. I have ever been to. I can't believe my back surgen referred me to him. 3 back surgeries, 2 neck surgeries still in pain and he tells me pain medication doesn't work for neck and back pain. That's what the CDC tells him to tell his patients. What a joke. SOB!!!!
After years of pain with a complex spine injury, I met Dr. Ripperda. His review of my injury and attention to detail were very thorough. He educated me on everything I needed to deal with the injury long term and how to treat through stages, and broadly explained what obstacles lie ahead.
