I'm extremely impressed with Dr. Puschak. I'm 46 yrs with a complex health history. His approach to diagnosing & treating my radiculopathy is perfect for me. He's not tunnel visioned & isn't quick to surgery. He looks at problems holistically & is very thorough. Panorama Ortho is quite impressive. Orthopedic surgery shouldn't ever be taken lightly. After having 13 hip surgeries (not by Panorama), I needed 100% assurance that my back problem be handled correctly. Dr. Puschak is the best!

Dr. Puschak is very knowledgeable, friendly and a skilled surgeon. He has done 2 fusions in my neck and one in my lower back. I have had no limitations of movement following those surgeries. I feel fortunate to have Dr. Puschak available with my chronic spine condition.

Dr. Puschak will work with you and not push surgery. He actually encourages you explore other alternatives such as PT, Pilates, yoga, medications. He encourages questions and answers thoughtfully and with patience.

I had a laminectomy done and was released without any antibiotics, three days later, puss was coming from the wound, after showing pictures by email I was told it should clear up,a few days later I was so sick and went to the emergency who admitted me.well I had surgery the next AM to open and clean out the wound, after five days in the hospital, I was released with a pick and have to inject antibiotics twice a day for six weeks and then continue on antibiotics pill form. I am angry!

Dr. Puschak advised me not to replace degenerating lumbar discs during a lumbar spinal fusion surgery two years ago. CT scans (he used only Xrays) now show the bone compound used on top of the hardware did not fully fuse, and the fused area has become unstable, with halos around 4 of the six screws. If he had chosen to replace the discs, I would have had at least more stability on the front side of the vertebrae. Instead, I have severe job ending pain and am facing a complete revision surgery.
