Dr. McGivney is a wonderful doctor.. He has now changed my life for the better on two occasions.. Very honest, upfront, and straight foward.. He is not dismissive, very easy to talk to, and also has an amazing care team to match.. If these things you are not looking for in receiving genuine care, then he is not the doctor for you..
Dr Thomas McGivney replaced 2 bulging disks in my neck that a month of aggressive physical therapy did nothing to improve. He laid out risks and options, answered all my questions, and didn't pressure me into anything. Because of my age, he recommended replacements rather than a cage, and explained why.
