Although I've had a good experience with the doctors here the desk staff is pretty rude...I love how there is a sign when you are standing in line saying "please WAIT until you are CALLED to come to the desk" and the secretary just stares at you not saying anything. (Maybe training staff to welcome the patient and saying something like "hello sir, I can help you right over here" would be professional and beneficial to all)....ah...who am I kidding this is BMC.
His Resident was wonderful but I found him to be dismissive and even a bit rude. Upon leaving the exam room that he said "take a left out the door and don't forget to fill out a survey for your friendly doctor." I thought that was tacky. Got nothing from this appointment.
Drove 700 miles to get to appointment. The parking garage and lot were full so found a street space a block away. Ran to the desk and was told I’d have to rebook because I was 12 minutes late. Receptionist could care less while she sat on her cell phone. We like the doc but the staff is uncaring and basically just taking up space.
No empathy Dismissive Starts of with “You should be better ..” yea and should be a competent doctor that can explain how medications work bio chemically if you are going to prescribe them …….. I ShOuld be better and he Should do his job -but it’s not a black and white world His visit notes are like a teenage diary entry -no mention of symptoms or solutions -and what the trajectory of healing looked like - no mention of how this “prescription” would help mitigate issues “She should be better ….
