If facebook still allowed for 1 stars I would give negative 500. I have had to wait some time to think about just what to say. This hospital allows for a doctor who is negligent to continue to practice in their facility. I am not the first mom and will not be the last as long as he is practicing here that will have problems. I was rushed to the ER for chest pains, from the moment I arrived I received excellent care! Dr. Dearing, Dr. Bunch, and Dr. Trice were all very thorough and had excellent bedside manners! The nursing staff on 2 North were so excellent!! The RN's, Nicki, Deanna, and Katie were very attentive and very professional! The CNA's Emily and Maya were awesome!!! I went in this evening because I broke my right thumb. They were extremely busy and yet the staff was totally on their A game. They were super friendly and I was triaged within 30 seconds of walking in. even though they were packed to the brim, my wait time was less than I expected and everyone I encountered were extremely caring courteous and never once did anyone complain that they were working a holiday.
They need to hire some people that are really there because they want to be working there that care about patients not just because they're vet there because they need a paycheck. People that are courteous respectful caring. My experience through the past 4 years has been a hospital with people that really don't have a passion for their career and not a caring environment. They put on a good facade but they don't carry through.
My son works there. I hear good things about Thomas Hospital from friends and family.
I want to give at shout to Dr Garvis for a great job on a outpatient surgery he preformed on me this week and also to the post surgery staff that took care of me afterward
they are a great hospital they helped my wife
They have always been very helpful & kind. My husband has been many times & was been patient, kind & understanding.
