Dr. Holovacs and his arrogance is still intact - based on previous reviews. Back in 2024 and May 2025, I saw him for a shoulder injury and then persistent pain.- I was evaluated as a candidate for shoulder replacement surgery. Instead of offering suggestions, both Holovacs and his PA (Kendra) was pretty much useless - dismissing the pain that I was in. Dr. Holovacs is truly an amazing surgeon. I had both shoulders and biceps repaired by him and the results are remarkable. I regularly recommend him to friends and clients as a gifted shoulder surgeon, and he's a good guy as well.
One of the worst run offices I've dealt with... and that's saying a lot. It took the scheduler 3 days to call back. She told me I was getting an appt with Dr. Holovacs when if fact she scheduled me to see his P.A. It would have been a complete waste of time. The overall problem with Mass General too often is arrogance mixed with incompetence. It's the opposite of patient-centered care. Engage at your own risk.
this doctor is truly amazing and repaired my torn up right shoulder two years ago, in which I never had a pain since! He took my left shoulder two weeks ago, which was shredded and was able to piece it back together, and made to look as good as new now only time will tell and I have no fear that it will be 110% better than it was before thank you Dr. Thomas Holovacs for your fantastic work and professionalism. Told me I was getting an appt with Dr. Holovacs when if fact she scheduled me to see his P.A. It would have been a complete waste of time.
