I believe that Plastic Surgeons need to be transparent with all procedures, unfortunately this facility does not have the best interests of its' clients. I have seen all the surgeons at this facility, and I can tell you with certainty, that they can't be trusted. I found that they mislead and lie to their clients about things they know are not true. This doctor had the knowledge to be a great experience, but he chose to take short cuts, and failed.
I am 69 years old, and I had a deep plane facelift, brow lift and lower bleph. I am extremely pleased with the results. I am 4 months post op and my face and neck are absolutely beautiful and natural. My recovery was very easy and I did not have any complications or any concerns. I live in Baton Rouge and did my consultation and after surgery follow ups at his Covington office. Dr Moulthrop is such an amazing doctor! I can’t say enough about his work. From the consultation to the follow up visits, Hedgewood surpassed my expectations. Dr. M is personal, professional, and exceptionally skilled in facial surgery. I consulted with three surgeons before choosing Dr Moulthrop, and I am beyond happy! This surgeon only cares about money.
Dr. Moulthrop is not the surgeon you want for your surgical needs. He was trained by one of the worst surgeons in the city, and lacks ethics.
The consultation was not informative. The staff is very involved with reviews that favor the surgeons that work at Hedgewood Facial Plastic Surgery Clinic.
The visit was poor from start to finish. I felt the doctor was trying to talk me into a procedure that I was not sure would be successful based on his medical experience. I raised several important questions to him, and he tried to make up reasons to perform the procedure. If I would of had the procedure, it could of caused a life threatening reaction. I am glad I chose not to have the procedure. The experience showed me I could not trust this surgeon, and that he was just out to make some money to pay for is BMW.
The experience was poor as a result of a poor consultation.
