In April 2010 I had a Lennox 3 ton 13 SEER heat pump installed. I was told that I would save 30% on my cooling. Assuming all my other electric usage to remain the same, my average $180/month electric bill should have dropped some, right? My current average electric bill since May 2010 is $176.58. I understand that this has been the hottest summer on record but where are the savings. I do not know if Thomas Heating claims are off or the equipment is simply energy hungry. Mr. Thomas, I felt that you, your company and most of all, your 3 employee that I met, deserve a note of appreciation. We love our new Trane heat pump and are enjoying the quietness and esthetic quality. We are also anticipating quite a savings on our electric statement in the coming months.
