I had knee surgery here in September of 2024. I did great at first but the the last 4 months my knee hurts worse than it did to begin with. I went back and recieved a 10 minute exam with xrays and was told the knee looks good. I was very disappointed in the follow up. I know there are things that don't show up in xrays. So, I'm still in a lot of pain and going to see a different doctor to see if he can figure out what is wrong. It's just very disappointing.
I had to have both of my knees completely redone four years after Dr. Gautsch put in my knees replacements. BOTH of my knee replacements had come loose. I went to a knee revision specialist who corrected the problem. Wish I had found that second surgeon first and saved myself a lot of time and pain.
Today is two weeks post total knee replacement. So far I am extremely happy with my results. I can walk again without pain. Left surgery center walking on my own day of surgery. If you want great results you have to have a great surgeon and do the physical therapy. On my follow up today, he told me I could get back on my bike. That made me so happy. Had a knee replacement almost 2 years ago. Been in pain ever since I had it done. So I searched out doctors who specializes in knee revision. I ended up having it revised from another doctor. The finding was this, implant was too big and being cut from the side this doctor explained to me there was no way that Dr Gautch could have gotten it in straight.
