Dr. Amalfitano has been super ot work with my very bad knees. He's been thorough in investigating and explained things to me so I understood what was needed and what he expected with trying to do a double knee replacement. He wouldn't do the surgery until my overall health was in good order--showing he wasn't just pushing ahead , even if I wasn't physically able to handle the surgery needed. Fantastic surgeon!

Dr Amalfitano knows exactly how to make you feel better. He is one of the best surgeons I’ve met.

I had an outstanding experience. I had Knee surgery. A year ago I could not walk 10 minutes with out having to sit down and get off my knee. Thanks to Dr. Amalfitano I can walk almost as well as I did prior to injury. I am in therapy now and well on my way to full recovery.

Stated multiple times that he “didn’t know why I was there” and that my issue was my neck, not my shoulder, like my PCP had diagnosed and referred me to him for. He was in the room for less than five minutes, referring me out to someone else. Had no problem charging my insurance and sending me a bill for something I “shouldn’t have been there” for though.

Dr. Amalfitano repaired my bilateral tendon ruptures in both legs after a vicious dog attack. I am walking now as well as I did before the trauma. Both my wife and I get a kick out of Amalfitano. How nice to have a doctor with such a wonderful and joyful bedside manor. The physical therapists he recommended were fantastic too.

Saw him for three months, kept telling me there was nothing wrong with my foot became very condescending. 3 MONTHS after our first visit he finally agreed to an MRI. Which found that my talus bone that is the main bone that makes your ankle work had been broken and he NEVER saw it. He also refused to address the tingling and burning in my foot. Another Dr ordered a nerve function test and found out I also had nerve damage.... So thankful I finally found a good orthopedic doctor.

I loved him. Had minor knee surgery but was nervous. He took his time and answered all of my questions. I felt very comfortable going into surgery. My appointments afterwards went very well. He showed me exercises that would help. Very encouraging. Glad I chose him for this procedure!
