Dr. Eyen has great bedside manner. I felt he heard my concerns and we discussed the best plan for my children at different times. He’s caring and willing to listen to a mom who is concerned, I advocated for my baby to get a tongue and lip tie release, he listened to and validated my concerns. He told me risks and benefits because his tie didn’t “look” bad but in reality it was impeding everything! I felt he actually heard me and released the ties. Dr. Eyen is fantastic. He is great at what he does. Dr. as well as the entire Ascentist staff were nothing short of impressive, professional and comforting in the entire process. Couldn’t recommend enough.
My 3 month old was having terrible acid reflux, so my pediatrician referred us to Dr. Eyen to make sure there wasn't an underlying issue. We waited 30 minutes past our appointment time to go back to speak to the doctor for roughly 2 minutes. He basically came in, asked if she was gaining weight and dismissed our concerns. We are new parents, so to us it felt like it warranted a bigger conversation. As mentioned, we saw him for 2-3 minutes and got a bill for $69. Complete rip off and so unhelpful. The way you speak to people makes a huge difference. The lady who answered my call was not only extremely rude but not helpful in the least bit. Customer service & kindness is not difficult. Disappointed & will be taking my daughter somewhere else.
Dr. Eyen went above and beyond. When he learned our insurance was not going to cover the surgery for our 2 1/2-year-old, he personally called me on his own initiative and shared options to save us a tremendous amount of money. His staff went above and beyond to advocate and help us. Before and after the surgery he came in and explained everything and made sure we felt comfortable and had time to answer our questions.
