The technician, Don, was great. Showed up and was quick to do his job. However, that was the extent of the good from Thomas Edison Electric. We had our Point of Attachment yanked out of the house during the storm on 7/18, and PPL won't re-attach them for legal reasons. I called Thomas Edison to have this done. I was quoted $903 for the work to attach the POA and reattach the wires. PPL line repairmen said they would handle the line attachment, they just needed the POA installed. We had the main meter box catch fire on 4th of July weekend during a massive heatwave. Being 9 months pregnant and having an 11 month old at home, having MetEd cut power to our home was not ideal. We struggled to find an electrician until we reached out to Thomas Edison. Not only were they incredibly quick in their arrival, but also incredibly efficient in their top tier work. They charge $50 for a estimate. Estimates are not free so I cancelled the appointment when I was told this. After cancelation of appointment they harassed called me to reschedule. When I cancelled I said I would call back later to reschedule if I wanted to, obviously if I don't. I don't. I worked in customer service and in the medical field, you never call a person back about rescheduling more than once and only need to leave 1 voicemail otherwise you are harassing unprofessional type. That's in any business.

I contacted this company for a quote to install a new home EV charger. They were the first to respond and scheduled a visit quickly, which I appreciated. I was told there would be a $50 quote fee—something I found odd for this type of service, but I agreed. Lesson learned for future projects. The technician arrived on time and assessed the setup.
