Today we had a quote with Eli. He was an amazing technician and truly went above and beyond on navigating our particular needs for our specific project. TLDR; I wish I had seen Steve Zimmerman's review below. Our breaker box died a month ago on a sunday, and Thomas Edison was the first company that could respond. I found plenty of decent reviews for them on google, yelp, and the BBB so at the time I figured their $8K+ quote to replace the box was reasonable, accounting for emergency response. Their work failed to pass inspection (some sort of overheating connector between the breaker and the meter), and they quoted me an additional ~$2100 to make things right. At that point ... read more
