After examining my patient, I try to explain my diagnosis in an understandable manner, offering conservative treatments options, if available. No matter the recommendation, the decision about the type or degree of care is always the patient's. I never pressure my patient into making a decision she or he is uncomfortable with. I share educational information with my patients and encourage them to seek further education. An educated patient will be more likely to participate in a way which aids in his or her recovery.

I and my son have been treated by Dr.'s Knox, McConnell and Franklin on multiple occasions. We would highly recommend all of them. Dr. Knox has been excellent through my injuries and surgeries. I'd recommend him to anyone. He makes me feel at ease, which is uncommon, and he's very thorough.
I recently went in because os severe pain in my knee d/t arthritis. He walked in the room asked how much I weighed and said lose fifty pounds and here’s some pain meds. Didn’t ask to see my knee or move it or feel it. I was extremely disappointed and upset.
Mother went in for review of a MRI, Dr. Knox came in and spent 2 minutes telling her she had arthritis in her knee and bulging disk in her back, then said "you need physical therapy" and that was it. She tried to ask him multiple questions, all which he answered in two words or less while trying to leave the room. POOR, POOR bedside manner. You cannot just hide behind a kind word and smile. You actually need to educate your patients and spend more time with them- rather than trying to get out as

Excellent doctor. He can come and go in the exam room pretty quickly so be prepared. Do your research ahead of time so you know what questions you should ask, OR, just tell him you need everything explained in detail. He will. He's a very kind and caring man.
Talented surgeon who repaired both of my shoulders and I am doing great now. He is smart, specific and clear in his instructions and after care. I have great confidence in him.
I had arthroscopic shoulder surgery on my left shoulder and for reasons unknown, the shoulder froze. Scar tissue had built up and I was in a lot of pain. Doctor Knox went back in and cut the scar tissue out freeing up the shoulder. I guess the other option would be to put a person under and forcibly manipulate the shoulder which could again freeze up. My shoulder is much better and I recommend him.
Dr. Knox is an incredible diagnostician and surgeon. I trust his opinions. He is honest, begins with a conservative approach to ailments and is a great communicator. My husband, my mother-in-law and I have all been patients for various issues over the years. Between the three of us, all experiences have been great and all surgeries have been a success.
The only way I can describe Dr. Knox is gracious professionalism, and you can expect that every time!
