This company contracts with my mother’s assisted living center in Plano. The facility is decidedly upscale but you would never know it by the food. The things on the menu are often not there, cooks turn over weekly. Quality is extremely poor. Complaints go unheeded and they do not care. We may be moving out because of them.
Thomas Cuisine has been exposed for backing out of its chicken welfare commitment, resorting instead to the cruelest slaughter and breeding practices - I guess they thought no one would notice. Live-shackle slaughter has been documented as one of the most traumatizing methods in the industry, where animals hang upside down and are not infrequently fully conscious when their throats are cut.
