We will be forever grateful for Dr. Batiuk and Dr. Benett who gave my mom a new lease on life. Thank you for giving us a chance when OHSU turned us down. It's been 5 years and my mom was able to see her grandkids grow up and her younger daughter get married and she continues to live and bring joy to the world.
Dr. Thomas Batiuk was my kidney transplant surgeon from Good Samaritan Hospital on April 22nd 2014! He saved my life not just once but twice, first he did an absolutely phenomenal job putting in my new kidney and being my surgeon for office visits as well, second I had a severe allergic reaction to a new anti-rejection drug 2 years ago and he literally rushed me down the ramps and Halls pushing me in a wheelchair to the ER from an office visit that just happened to be an appointment day, thank God because I almost died again... read more
Dr.Batuik is a wonderful doctor with a great sense of humor. He along with the whole crew at Legacy made my transplant journey way less scary.
