Dr. Herrick really takes his time to explain things on a level that you can understand. He gives you the facts and then comes up with a game plan on what options you have, what his opinion is, and what works for the both of you.
Waiting to see him was a little long.
I've read a couple of "not so good" reviews about Dr. Herrick which I feel are totally misleading. Dr. Herrick is one heck of surgeon and one heck of a nice guy. He performed a TURP surgery on me five weeks ago and now I can urinate like a race horse. I've had no complications (thank God) and I feel great. Don't get upset about the wait time for an appointment. Every urologist in the city is backed up thanks to us beef eating baby boomers with giant prostates.
My son had surgery on a Friday, almost 2 weeks ago. Had some complications. To this day has not been able to talk to dr who did his surgery. Horrible post surgery help. When you call office, they say you need to talk to his nurse. They don’t call back. Wouldn’t recommend the NKC office to anyone.
After years of bladder symptoms from BPH controlling my life, the TURP procedure, provided by Dr. Herrick, restored me. No longer worrying about where the next restroom is, and if I can make there in time. Thank You Dr. Herrick
Dr Herrick is wonderful. He takes his time and listens to the patient. He really knows what he is doing, i would highly recommend him!
I adore Dr Harrick! He was brought into surgery to repair my ureter during my hysterectomy. He talked to my family and me, explaining everything that happened and what to expect. I highly recommend him to anyone needing a urologist. His staff if friendly and helpful too!
Dr. Herrick is very friendly, understanding and empathetic. He explains everything in detail. He made my prostate biopsy a tolerable experience. If I have my choice I wont go to any other Urologist and I would highly recommend Dr. Herrick to anyone.
