Very friendly service and never disappoints

Brought car in identify and fix the cause of an oil leak. They held onto my car for days, in the end was charged close to $1K to have the ‘fix’…only to find the leak reoccurring within 6 months. Brought car to another mechanic who not only identified the issue, but discovered how the earlier leaking part was masked with what appeared to be sealant which eventually deteriorated. Don’t let the calming music which is played in their office fool anyone. I won’t be using them again.
I initially had some concerns with my experience at THL Autoservice in Ringwood. I was charged for additional services that I hadn’t approved, which caused some frustration. However, after discussing the situation with them, they made efforts to resolve things by offering a complimentary service. While the beginning of my experience wasn’t ideal, I do appreciate the steps they took to make things right. Overall, I’m satisfied with how they handled the situation and the resolution offered.
I recently had a big service of my ute. Steven and the team were very helpful and transparent on what my car needed to be done. They also send photos for updates just to touch base with their customer and how the progress of the service is going. A big thanks to Steven and THL auto team for making my car service experience easy.
