Amazing food and service at
Thistle Cafe is one of those special places where once you try it, it will become your secret of Austin’s best. Relaxing cafe, cool indoor or outdoor seating is plentiful. Miller is one of the nicest people I have met. Very accommodating and friendly. The chef makes beautiful dishes. Went here based on a "best breakfast restaurant in Downtown" search.... and we were not disappointed! Greeted warmly and friendly by the owner as soon as we walked in. They were patient with our order, brought our coffees out quickly (the Mexican Mocha Latte was amazing!) and our food was served in a timely manner. Everything was fantastic - the taco was tasty and the pancakes were huge (with vanilla in the batter) and quite good! We will be back for sure!
