Ordered a cheesecake in early November for a December birthday. Called the morning of pickup to confirm the 10am time and was told it wouldn’t be ready until the afternoon because of a mix-up (sounded like they forgot the order). Not a huge deal, but annoying for an order placed 4 weeks in advance. Picked it up later that day and got home to realize it was completely frozen. I left a negative review regarding my experience with The Thirsty Whale Bakery , Wayzata location . The response that I received from the management staff this morning is even more shocking !!! They are trying to justify their poor service. SEE THE ATTACHED EMAIL I did not order a custom cake , I ordered a signature cake that per their website is a 24 hour turnaround time which I placed my order 30 hours in advance .
