The dentists and hygienists are kind, professional, and personable. I've never had major work done but my routine cleanings and a filling here and there are a pleasant experience. The challenge lies in booking appointments. I've gone here a handful of times over the past 3ish years and I typically end up with 2 appointments on different dates, my appointment gets deleted, or moved without verbal confirmation. Went for my 6 month cleaning, and suddenly I need $7k worth of work done??? I have had a singular tiny cavity over the last 10 years and never had issues with other dentists. When I asked why these concerns were not brought up last time, they couldn’t give me an answer. Lazy job on the cleaning, painful and the lady kept yanking my head about.
I’ve been going to this dentist for years and they had been fantastic, but apparently it’s under new ownership now, because my experience at my most recent appointment reminded me of the time I tried Sears dental and fled mid-appointment when they tried to tell me I had several cavities (spoiler alert: I had none). Long time patient for over 30 years and my entire family used them but it went downhill drastically. The billing department is horrible and constantly making mistakes so you better be on top of reviewing the bills. They also love to send out these rude billing statements that they will be stamped final notice. It’s a new dentist and hygienist every time I go and they love to try and upsell. They seem to cut corners now and you no longer get the personalized care because it’s a revolving door.
I was a patient at this office for approximately 40 years, my partner almost 50 years. When Dr. Buck bought the practice, the office went downhill rapidly. The turnover in staff has been insane. They just can't keep staff. Recommendation - look elsewhere if you are seeking a new dentist.
