Good beer, friendly staff, Live music and a great outdoor space
I live nearby and wanted a place where I could relax after my weekend bike rides. A friend suggested Third Nature Brewing, and I'm glad I listened. I ordered a flight of beers first because I couldn't decide, and the staff explained each one without making me feel rushed. I also had a burger and fries, and everything tasted fresh. The outdoor biergarten has a great atmosphere, and you can tell they care about the quality of both the food and the beer. I've already been back a few times with friends.
I can't believe this place even decided to open their doors today. Went there for my nieces birthday dinner AN HOUR AFTER OPENING and it was a disaster. Firstly they've dramatically reduced the size of the menu and they were LITERALLY out of everything we wanted. They didn't have the olive burger, didn't have the cuban, didn't have the wings OR the boneless wings (even though they're advertising wing Wednesday on their website) and then two of the things we reluctantly ordered was incorrect. We moved to the Rockford area last June and have visited Third Nature 5-6 times over the past year because we genuinely wanted it to become our local spot. Unfortunately, after a full year of chances, the service has consistently let us down. The current hybrid system, part waitstaff, part stand inline at the bar, has been confusing and inconsistent across every visit. Today was the breaking point.
