My glasses broke on me in the middle of my workshift, and my prescription was expired. I tried another place first, but the lady was confused by my insurance and the earliest they could get me in was a week and half later. I called here. As soon as I mentioned that my glasses were totally broke (snapped clean in half across the nose-bridge), they immediately got me in (about 45 mins later actually, I was lucky). They did a great job on my eye exam this summer. I thought I'd save some money and order my glasses on line. They broke twice, so I'm back for frames and lenses. Should have done it to start with.
I hate the eye doctor...until today. Jan was so nice at the front desk, and I immediately felt at ease. The doctor was very knowledgeable and picking glasses out was pleasant and easy! Highly recommended!
I had Lasik in 2001 and hadn't needed an eye exam until this year. I found Third Avenue Eyecare on-line and was able to make an appointment without difficulty. The Doctor was knowledgable, efficient and kind, and the rest of the staff was welcoming and enthusiastic. I had a great experience, and a bunch of help finding my awesome new glasses.
I started going to Third Ave Eyecare 14 years ago. At my first visit I found out that my previous eye doctor didn't give me the right prescription and my vision correction was really lacking. I saw a major correction with my new prescription and have been happy ever since. Excellent care, great office staff, and I'm pleased I'm supporting a local business.

The staff is so friendly and really take time to explain to you what your best options are. Very professional and courteous, and you never have to wait for long because they do their best to honor your appointment time. And the actual appointment never takes long. I like this place the best out of all the eye clinics I have been to. I do recommend!
