Absolutely terrible service. As an over 23 year customer I should not have to spend at least 1.5 hours on hold to speak with an agent. I was not able to add my child as I was told to call back when I was 100% sure about my insurance needs as the costs to run a quote were high for them. When I did finally get a quote it was double the price of all other quotes I received on my own from multiple companies. They clearly do not value long term customers.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with ThinkInsure over the past year has been extremely disappointing and frustrating. Last year, when our previous insurance was up for renewal, we decided to shop around and compare rates. ThinkInsure provided us with the best quote, so we moved forward with them. Their customer support has declined dramatically over the past two years since they were acquired by another company. You used to get through to knowledgeable local support almost immediately. Now you’re left waiting for an hour, only to reach what appears to be an outsourced support team with a much lower level of expertise.
Don’t be in a rush to get ahold of anyone!!! I have been insured with ThinkInsure for almost a year, everytime I have an inquiry or anything needed to talk over the phone, it’s been a nightmare. minimum 45-60 min wait to get ahold of someone. i have had to call twice this week, first was on monday - that was over an hour on hold, and today, im almost at 2.5 hours on hold and still going as i’m typing this.
