The worst. From the moment I walked in they judged me for the art I wanted to tattoo on myself. Not every person that walks in wants a full arm piece on their arm. I was escorted out for discussing what I wanted. I spoke to my friend who got artwork there and she experienced the same thing. I will continue to tell people of the mistreatment I experienced there. Do not go here if you want to be belittled.
The review that Lauren H left below is about myself. Think Tank Tattoo should not be held accountable for a deposit that went directly to an artist. Each artist is an individual, independent contractor, and the shop itself does not collect that money. I do not recomend Think Tank Tattoo. I gave a $100 deposit to an artist who ended up leaving. I was told to track down the artist & still get him to do the tattoo. I was not able to get the artist to do the work & its been a year. When I called to see what the shop whould do I was told it wasen't there responsibility & once again find the artist. I'm new to Denver and was looking for a new ink spot, and a lot of people recommended the Tank. I view my ink as a collaboration between my ideas and the artists personal style - I never say "this is what I want, do exactly this stencil or whatever". I want an original piece of artwork! I setup two different consults with some guys a few months ago that I dug their style, and told him I want a half sleeve of flowers I let my sisters pick out and one for my grandma who passed. Long waits both to get an appointment, long waits when you arrive for your appointment. Snarky, "I'm too cool" attitudes abound. Cash only policy that is a real pain in the ass. If you love abuse and disrespect, you'll love this place. Otherwise, look elsewhere.
Think Tank - Don`t say I didnt warn you. – I have two sleeves and have always hade great experiences with tattoos and great people great atmosphere, but not only did the So called sloopy artist at Think Tank mess up, he and the owner tried to charge full price. Never again!!
DO NOT USE JEREMY BARBER IF YOU WANT A GOOD EXPERIENCE – I've had the worst tattoo experience possible with this A$$. He doesn't give a damn about his customers and he ended up charging me more then the rate we agreed upon. - twice! This ink is worth the wait! – For months I did research on tattoos, artists, and shops in and around Denver. The tattoo in progress was to be my first and definitley not too small. Th'ink Tank became my go-to shop after my first visit; the staff is helpful and professional, the artists are experienced and talented.
