Would Not use Things To Do DC and here's why: This was supposed to be an "Embassy Experience" event for $153 per person. This felt like nothing more than a Halloween keg party run by college kids at best and mostly, cultural appropriation. 1. We purchased the “VIP” tickets that included a dinner buffet. Dinner (an extra $60 charge per person) was blended up avocados that were trying to be guacamole, tortilla chips, beans, rice, chicken tinga, picadillo, cheese quesadillas, and some mushy corn & poblano pepper dish. We have done the scavenger hunt and the hayride/bonfire events with Things To Do DC and they were both super fun! Thanks to Greg for planning such awesome activities!! Will definitely be signing up for more events in the future ☺️
The Cold War limo scavenger hunt was fun but the start and end locations are NOT the same place so players are left to try to get back to their cars after the event concludes. This is a huge pain - especially if the night is cold. The tickets do not state this anywhere and the organizer did not respond to emails. We also generously tipped our limo driver in cash and then the organizer claimed we had not tipped. Disappointing end to an otherwise fun event.
Boring, unremarkable event. Their embassy events are just a presentation of 30 years old video with some lame Q&A. No dinner until 8:30pm.
