Very nice to always see the same lady working the front every time I go. Feels homy
Nice, relaxing place to eat. Some locals introduced me to this restaurant. If I lived in Saskatoon, I would eat here once per week, maybe 6 times per month, perhaps 21 times every two months. I had dish #148. It was spicy without being a test of willpower. Deeply flavourful, too. The horse art is eye-catching, the lights are mezermizing, the red bows are festive. Seating was comfortable and the servers kept us hydrated, while keeping the rest of the restaurant clean. An entirely lovely experience!
Thien is a shadow of what it once was. This used to be my favourite establishment in the city. Cost effective, delicious, friendly. Went in for lunch today, and the hostess treated me like I was an annoyance. Rolled her eyes at me, was very short with me. Definitely didn't want to be there. There were maybe 4 other tables seated, and still took my food (pork vermicelli bowl) nearly an hour to get to me. It was cold, and the food was the FURTHEST thing from fresh. Atmosphere better than the food, if you want a tasty noodle bowl this isn’t the place.
