Excellent pediatrician! Very warm and friendly and very knowledgeable about all of our kids. Keeps good tabs on developments and monitors progress over time through regular checkups. The practice is very accommodating for illness appointments and typically has slots the same day if you call in when they open. We typically go straight to an exam room and wait times are reasonable. Of course, during some seasons things take time and some lab results require a few minutes of waiting, but I’m very happy with Dr. Thiede.
Terrible doctor! Completely dismissive of serious health issues. Always does the same tests and if they come back negative, she'll brush off all illnesses as 'some virus' your child has. She missed serious underlying health conditions both of my children had and brushed off all of my concerns.
We have been going to McLean Pediatrics, specifically to Dr. Thiede for over 16 years. She is a warm, compassionate and knowledgable doctor. My 3 kids all ask for her when they have to go in for their checkups.
