We received almost individualized treatment in the ER today @ Thibodaux Regional (or whatever the name is). The ER was extremely quiet (from 3am-330pm) with the most being 3-4 pts. at one time. Sufficient staff was also on hand! As a Nurse for a long time, I see those things! I remain observant, supporting medical staff as it calls for. However TODAY was a horrible experience! I'm a Veteran and I have been treated there before . My implant malfunctioned and the VA was sending me to you guys for help. I met the implant rep at the wellness center. But you guys refused to help me . Would not even give us a room . So I had to do the examination in the lobby infront of people. The the next day someone from the admin called me and told me to find another hospital thanks . I'm gonna make sure my family and myself will never use you guys again . This hospital does not deserve a rating because they are the worse! My uncle was in there for a week and half he did not get the proper care he needed..he had trouble breathing, they did not even address his lung cancer or give any type of treatment, his doctor went on vacation while he was admitted left no notes for anyone else! The day he was discharged they didn't help him get dress he was brought down with just a gown on, no shoes, and nothing underneath his gown it was pouring down raining! Different quality of care from past experiences.
I don't recommend going to this Doctor's office bc they don't do nothing what they say and they don't refill your medications on time.
