I joined the FL and USA "Do not Call List" and have been relieved of all those calls that plague you normally. However recently this company sent out a flier that they would clean my A/C for $29.95. The serviceman arrived and spent about ten minutes doing a couple of things that were insignificant which did not include blowing out the evaporator which in my mind is the key thing that has to be done in in cleaning, and then told me that there were a lot of things wrong. They sent out a flyer to do a list of things for the air conditioner for $29.95. They told me the freon was low and I shouldn't run it that way. They wanted $80 cash for freon. Then they said my a/c needed to be replaced or refurbished. They added a bunch of things to sweeten the pot. I don't know if there is really anything wrong with it or not.

I paid this company about 35 bucks or so to come do an AC tune up special. They sent a kid out that did very little to tune up the AC, told me it wouldn't make it past this summer most likely and tried to sell me a new one. My House and the AC is only 6 years old. They are just trying to sell new AC units weather you need it or not and will lie to you to try to do it. I was actually surprised the kid didn't do something to sabotage my unit.
