Horrible. My grandma was here briefly. WE TOOK HER OUT AFTER SPEAKING WITH THE CARETAKERS. They spilled the beans that Teresa is verbally and physically abusive to her residents. Not a good place at all. Spoke to the State and they confirmed Teresa was under investigation for abuse. Stay away!

Theresa runs this place, including the care of patients. She has no medical experience or degrees and is elderly herself. She is not a RN, but uses a part-time RN when available. My elderly aunt lived here. Being very old, my aunt would repeatedly ask for things and I suppose she irritated Theresa because I found out from the Illinois Department of Public Health that they investigated this home and cited the home because among other deficiencies, including the lack of a consistent RN on site, Theresa was seen by one of the p... read more
I have had my husband in this marvelous facility for 6 years. I can say this is an excellent care facility. The caregiver to resident ratio is 4-5 to 1--excellent and the facility is white glove clean! They serve homemade food and fresh fruit, not the junk you get at the corporate facilities. It is a comfortable home so residents do not feel they are in a hospital like so many of the big places. This is how assisted living should be done! Check out this wonderful home!
