Ease of scheduling , great staff ! You can just tell off the bat that Dr Sporter was intelligent and compassionate . A far cry from the health practices in Staten Island . So happy to have met with this provider !

Patient presenting with severe eczema. Went to see Dr Galowitz to test for food allergies. Dr refused to do testing to find eczema trigger, dismissed personal patient experience, and promoted false claims. Doctor directly said she is uninterested in finding cause for eczema flare ups. Dr refused to do blood tests as recommended by pediatrician. Other allergists have since confirmed blood tests are critical to test for allergy antibodies and inflammation markers. Nothing to do with Dr Zsema.... The front desk secretary at Dr Szema's office, Jill, called & left me a message after I had missed her call. She said to 'call & ask that they put me through the front office to make an appt for the specific test that I need bc only they do that. ' I called back at the # she gave me & answering service answered & refused to let me talk to the front desk, saying they have to relay the message to call me back themselves. Not only is she thorough, she actually cares about the well being of her patients, she also keeps up with current medications that might be right for my treatment, she will callme personally and go over new treatment options for my condition. Thanks Dr. Lebo and her staff.
Dr. Toh seemed ruthlessly competent and efficient, but clearly empathy with a young patient was not her thing. And competency was not the habit of her giggling assistants who messed up my daughter's scratch tests, laughed about it to Dr. Toh, and then had to do the scratch test all over. Not fun for a nervous kid. I would recommend going elsewhere. We have. (And the check-in personnel were unpleasant and unresponsive)
I would highly recommend anyone seeking allergy assistance. Dr. Vassallo is excellent with his job. He enjoys his job and take great pride when attending to his patients. My allergies are well controlled as he had me on a schedule.
