I’ve brought my son here for speech therapy for months now. Litzy at front desk was amazing and so are his therapists, Tania and Katie, my son loves them. Walked in one day and Litzy was gone. Now his therapist is also leaving and I’ve noticed others are leaving too. There seems to be frequent staff turnover. It seems as if different employees are working each week, and no one seems fully trained. It makes the service inconsistent and frustrating. Very inefficient office. It takes an extremely long time for them to schedule over the phone or in person. Something as simple as canceling a future appointment is complicated for them to do. Whoever I spoke with that scheduled one of my appointments scheduled it at a different office than the one we usually go to. I showed up with my child to find out that our appointment was at a different location. We won’t be returning.
Ms. Mac has been absolutely amazing with my son. He is level 2 autistic and considered non-verbal, and from the very beginning she has shown so much patience, kindness, and understanding toward him. What means the most to me is how excited my son gets to go see and play with Ms. Mac — that alone speaks volumes about the trust and bond she built with him so quickly. We stopped attending when we switched insurance and therapy was no longer covered. $120 for 20 minutes of playing games and saying a few words is ridiculous. The first couple sessions covered pronunciation technique but afterwards it was just rating his speech without much guidance. We last attended 7 months ago and are just now being contacted about a billing issue! Contacting a person with this provider is nearly impossible, and their hold recording is infuriating. The lack of response from all locations I’ve attempted to contact is absolutely unacceptable. We’re trusting this company with our child’s needs and their customer service is below a one star. Our child thrives coming here but lack of appts that work with our schedule is frustrating. The appts have also been shortened, when we first started it was 22 min sessions & then 8 minutes telling the parent what the child did during their session, & then without warning they are now 20 mins.
