I was recently dropped from their care due to what I suspect are financial motivations, even though I was given other excuses. I was then referred to the public options at Community Mental Health, that are very lacking and overwhelmed. I liked the therapist I saw at Therapy Today and I feel like she helped me, but ultimately at the end I felt like she really didn't care about me as a patient, which is disappointing.
My experience with Therapy Today and working with my therapist Reid was incredibly helpful. I came in to help process my grief and trauma, and not only did Reid help me do that, she helped me build more resilience and kindness towards myself. I feel better prepared to handle life's challenges. I also appreciated the communication from the front office and the appointment reminders. While I feel resolved in the original reason I came in, I do feel like I could back to my therapist in the future if I needed to talk again.
