I sent an email on Therapy Now SF website at a little after 12am today 1/30/24 and received a call a little after 9am this morning. Wow!!! I had the pleasure of speaking with Dr. Andrea Zorbas who was understanding, patient and knowledgeable of my need for a specific psychologist. Although my initial call was for a Black psychologist, without a doubt I believe Dr. Zorbas would have been a fabulous mental health provider for me, but she's not taking new clients. Dr. Nina is a godsend. I actually feel like ME again. My sleep is restful and my energy is stabile. And I'm no longer waking up with burning pain in my stomach. I will say without reservation that it was Dr. Nina's expertise that got me here. She used specialized testing to understand the health of my gut, helped me get rid of problem foods that my GI system didn't like, and used herbal medicines and nutrition to get me balanced. Dr. Zorbas is an incredible therapist - she is empathic and thoughtful, yet direct and honest with her patients. She is someone who truly cares and has the knowledge to help people. She has a lot experience in the field, from community mental health work and various counseling centers to teaching at USF. I consult with her regularly to help with my patients, and would highly recommend her to anyone seeking a meaningful therapeutic relationship.
