Kristen broke confidentiality laws when I worked with her when I was 14. I had confided in her something I had done that did not constitute danger to myself or others (intimacy with my then-boyfriend who was only a year older than me so it was perfectly legal). She insisted on telling my parents, who then punished me for months due to their strict religious beliefs. I stayed with her for another year at my parents' insistence, but became suicidal and began having panic attacks. Worst therapist I've ever had.
Absolutely the worst mental health care professional I've ever encountered. She lacked basic human empathy on a level that is literally incomprehensible to me and treated me like what I was (apparently)- a paycheck. I can't believe I stuck it out for at least a year. Her "work" almost killed me and convinced me I was beyond help. Also, she takes problems in a very.... flowchart manner.
