For the first time in my life, I feel like I finally found a therapist understands the way I think and feel. I cannot tell you how many times I tried to go to therapy, just to feel like I do everyday…different. She is so easy to talk. I never feel judged and have been able to tell her things I have never been able to tell anyone.

Anytime my wife attempted to communicate her needs, I found myself getting defensive. This pattern repeated over and over until we just stopped communicating altogether. My wife told me It was either go to counseling or we were going to get a divorce. Krissy saved my marriage. If it wasn’t for her, I would never have found out that my behaviors were caused by ADHD. She was right. I got to experience the first day to the rest of my life. Now I can validate my wife and her feelings instead of deflecting from them.

Throughout my life, I was told I had anxiety. Despite my efforts—including medication—I never managed to control it. Meeting Krissy changed everything; she helped me realize that what I thought was anxiety was actually a symptom of a larger, overlooked issue. Now, with an accurate diagnosis, I feel as though my real life is just beginning.

It is sometimes hard to find the right therapist to click with. I clicked right away with Krissy. She is a safe person to confide in. She is a good listener with an upbeat personality that makes therapy seem more like a cup of coffee with a friend, rather than a "therapy session". I probably would not be here without her compassion and guidance.
