The staff at Therapeutic Associates are very friendly and the online check-in was quick. The evaluation of my knee pain was thorough and I learned that it is very likely due to weakness in my thigh, hip and glute muscles. I was instructed on how to do some exercises to strengthen these muscles. I am very impressed with the knowledge and thoroughness of the physical therapy staff.
Have to add to the complaints about front desk and billing. Got health insurance (yay) and both insurance + this office said it would be completely covered. Then I received a bill over 6 months AFTER my last appointment. It was for more than I was paying out of pocket before insurance. Front desk was incredibly rude and demanding (I was not 6 months late when it was the first time I even heard about a bill....). Anyway, cannot recommend based on the front desk set up alone.

The physical therapists and all the support staff at Therapeutic Assoc. North Portland are extremely skilled in their profession and good with clients. This business is busy because they help people to heal, to improve their lives, and to feel competent on their journeys to improved health or physical performance.
