Dr. Yaremo was recommended to me by my GP for a digestive problem I was having. I met with Dr. Yaremo and found him to be knowledgeable and caring. I had a digestive procedure done at Charlotte Surgical Center, by Dr. Yaremo which all went well. He has me on the road to recovery, and I couldn't be more pleased. This office is the worst. They refused to see me because I didn't have the money upfront for my visit. Multiple people tried to help me by giving me the money and I still got refused. No compassion. Terrible front desk workers!!
My main issue is with the staff and not Dr Yaremo (who was willing to listen and discuss my issues). The office staff failed to check with my GP for clearance for a procedure within 30 days, requiring a second appointment at my cost, and only for paperwork. The office manager was belligerent from the start and ended up blaming me for selecting the insurance I have. She also tried to get me to have the procedure in 5 days, even though I needed to be off medication 7 days before the procedure.
My overall impression of Dr. Yaremo as a gastroenterologist is not good. Uncomfortable waiting room with few chairs and cramped space. Very dark and dingy examining rooms, no visible credentials on the wall. Took him three tries to get my prescription written correctly in order for the pharmacist to accept it. Got an infection after he did a colonoscopy which he said was due to the prep. (My physician confirmed an infection). Suggested I buy my prescriptions from China or India.
Billing not sent to patient. Went straight to collections. Incompetent Billing staff. Do Not Trust This Staff.
