Today, my father—a hardworking blue-collar man who avoids hospitals unless he truly believes his life is at risk—was treated with complete disregard at ThedaCare by Dr. Hammond. The ICU staff that took care of my Dad when he passed were amazing, compassionate, caring and let my family have as much time as we needed with my Dad before he passed. Tony one of the nurses was supportive and very caring.

My mother was recently hospalized for a fall at her home. She fractured her left wrist and shoulder. She was on the 5th floor for 3 days. My sister's and I had ask to set up a time to meet. One person came from another floor and was very short with us, you could tell She was upset that she had to be there. She gave us a list of facilities and told us we need to pick 5 now. Luckily I've been to many as a hospice nurse, so I knew which ones ok. She left and we never saw another one! No help was offered with what to do after re... read more
