I had a colonoscopy and a scope of my stomach I had it set up for months they called me and went through everything that I should do. They then cancelled and never gave me reason why. That is totally uncalled for. I heard from another girl they wouldn't do it because I'm overweight that's what happened to her.
I will not have surgery here again. The staff is not well trained. I have never had such a painful IV placement. That rubber band on the upper arm is not supposed to feel like a tourniquet. I asked to have it loosened, but my complaint was ignored. Also, I was having breast surgery, and the nurse made a huge deal because I did not take my clean cotton underwear off. Terrible service to their patients. ThedaCare outpatient surgery made me wait four hours (naked) waiting for a simple 10 minute procedure. No one even came to talk to me to explain what was going on until after I’ve been waiting two hours. Avoid ThedaCare outpatient surgery at all costs! ThedaCare needs to do better.
Dr. Dubeck and his whole team, from front desk to nurses and scheduling, was wonderful. He was so patient. They made sure I was happy with my mastoplexy and post mastectomy implant. I definitely recommend them if you want a team who listens to your questions and concerns, then give you an honest straightforward answer. I call them my dream team. My 2nd based are still looking great, thanks Dr. Duel, Kate and everyone else!!!
