Keep this guy as far away from your houses as possible.
The most unprofessional person I have ever come across. He does not know the codes and when presented with the codes in writing still will not listen. We were told “ I’ve been doing it for 50 years and that’s how I have always done it”. Unfortunately for you sir codes change every 3 years so just because you have been doing it that way does not mean that it’s the correct way.
This inspector did a home inspection on our condo saying heater not working, plug outlets were not GFCI protected, roof leaking, and very disrespectful. I had other contractors take a look at our place and said the observations were false. He didn’t even use a moisture meter when saying our roof had a leak. I wish I could rate this inspector ZERO stars! I just want to let other people know before they get scammed. This is for the contractor Kevin Kierans.
Kevin is very thorough and paid close attention to every aspect of the home during our inspection. I recommend his services to others.
