Never heard of this play until my daughter asked me to buy tickets. I purchased them as a gift for a job well done in school and as a family, we went yesterday. I'm so glad my daughter asked to see it. Colton Ryan played Evan and we LOVED it!!! The story, actors and music were AMAZING.The theatre was sold out and I understand why. There wasn't a dry eye in the house! Dear Evan Hansen touches you in a way that you don't expect and can never be forgotten. I would love to see it again and hope it wins all nominated awards. Theatre is run very efficient and dear Evan Hansen was amazing The cast was perfect as was the special effects
My last night in New York was seeing Dear Evan Hansen not one complaint, great theatre and the show was amazing, I've waited about a year to see the show and wasn't let down Ben Platt deserves the tony for his performance and so do the rest of the cast and production team
Loved Evan Hansen but the stage is set so high above the first row the people in that row needed cushions to see the stage... we were in row B and it was better viewing but not great either....don't know what the answer is but just saying...we paid for premium seats and it's a ripoff!
The theater didn't have any real lobby and area to get souvenirs or a drink but was very cute and leg room was spacious in row j where we were sitting. I have to give it a 5 though simply because Dear Evan Hansen was a phenomenal show! Emotionally thought provoking and Ben Platt left me awestruck!!!
The theatre is beautiful and Dear Evan Hansen is the best musical I've ever seen - and I've seen a ton of them.
Should be mandatory for teenagers to watch this show. A brillaint , moving and hilarious view point of life in 2017. Ben deserves his Tony nomination. He's perfect in a very tricky role
