Best hidden gem in New Bern, close to everything (<5 mins). Very clean and proud of the 60s 70s genre. Super pet friendly.
Great place to stay in New Bern. Close enough to everything w/o being in the middle of town. Hosts were friendly and responsive. Great alternative to sterile hotel stay. Well kept grounds. Clean and interesting decor.
This is such a fun place to stay! I have stayed in the Elvis "the King-Sized Bed Room" (AKA Jungle Room) which is Ziegler Studios largest. This week I'm in the 1970's Room (maybe their smallest) so there's lots of decor reminiscent of what was groovy in the '70s. Large or small, these rooms are comfortable and peaceful. I recommend trying any one of the rooms out (on a weekday when it's cheaper) for a unique place to unwind in New Bern, NC!
I travel a lot and stay in hotels very often, so I have plenty of experience. I can honestly say that this is one of the coziest and most welcoming hotels I have ever stayed in! We stayed here recently with our 10 yr. old granddaughter and the suite was perfect for our needs. Melissa was wonderful to work with re booking/communication. The location was ideal (5 mins. to downtown), it was clean, safe, and quiet. I would definitely stay here again!
