First time coming here, and I was very impressed and happy with the hair coloring and haircut I got from Jason! I came in initially for a consultation (wanted to go shorter but wasn't 100% set on the details or style I wanted, and also to get blue/teal peekaboo hair) and from the get-go Jason was great at really listening and making sure he understood what I wanted and was concerned about. Frankie Freshness is an incredible stylist. I had long-ish hair and wanted to cut it short. Honestly best cut I've had in my life. Look him up on Google or Instagram to see his work. On their website, he is listed under Southern Local —> Haircuts —> Short scissors. Why are you reading reviews? Just book with him already.
I highly recommend Bree! I get an unconventional shaggy-mullet cut and she does an incredible job. She is meticulous and checks her work/makes changes often. She asks lots of questions to make sure she gives you the look you're going for. Highly recommend, especially for any alt-haircut peeps.
Sadly adding this place to my long list of regrets. The cut I received was done well, but was not suited for my hair type and was ultimately not what I asked for. I came in with waist-length hair asking for a trim and face-framing layers. The stylist took the time to ask me about my hair (wavy, frizzy, low-maintenance), so I felt like we were on the same page. I’d give zero stars if I could. I’m honestly really sad writing this, because I loved the hair and was so excited to finally find someone I could trust. I have really bad social anxiety, and it took a lot for me to reach out in the first place. I usually avoid salons because I’ve had so many bad experiences, but I genuinely felt comfortable here and truly appreciated the work — I even tipped 75% because I was so grateful.
