It seems the Executive Director likes to take to Facebook, calling people names and acting like a Child. I wasn't one of them, but he was so routinely abusive I checked his profile to see if he was real. Sure enough. Classy, real classy. If this is the tolerated behavior for this institution, I'd steer clear.

The Musicals in Mufti are produced to the highest level possible. I appreciate the fact that the performers are NOT amplified, so when I hear a voice I know that what I hear is really from the artist. The York produces shows that may have been missed in their Broadway production for one reason or another -- great way to experience the full historical panoply of the genre.

We saw Panama Hattie last night, our first time at the York Theatre. What a great show! The Musicals in Mufti series at the York is just like Encores! ( at City Center) but BETTER! Intimate venue, great stage and loads of talent! We will be back again and again!!
Very intimate small theater. Had a great Q and A with cast after. Louise Nevelson’s work is in the chapel above the theater.
There’s not a bad seat in the house and their shows are terrific!
